So far on my weight-loss, fat-loss, or just fitness journey I have not gained nor have I lost any weight. I totally understand that the scale means nothing to actual body composition in regards to fat and muscle percentage, however its still a disappointment! I even compared some new photos to my before and nada.
Due to that I have decided to sign up for the transformation challenge and tomorrow is my weigh-in! They will take photos and I will be able to use the InBody Scan! That scan will measure fat, muscle, and water level, plus they will compare that to my height, weight, and age to see where it should be at.
It truly does give you awesome details of everything that is going on in your body, which is what I am truly excited about! I want to know muscle and fat levels, so I know how much I really should improve. After the challenge I will also get to take another scan and that's perfect! Since the scale isn't changing for me, it would be nice to know if my muscle and fat composition has at least changed.
So the challenge itself is six weeks long, and during that timeframe you must complete at least 18 workouts in your home studio which means at least three classes a week. To top it off, if you have the biggest transformation at my studio you win $500. Which they offer a prize for both Men and Women. Personally, I'm not in this to win the money since I feel I am only competing against myself.
However, next week I will share the results of my scan and all the workouts I have accomplished to better my health! I must admit, next week will probably include unhealthy choices as I will be in San Diego! Until then have a great weekend and week and live your best life!
